The owner of my local shop here told me when I inquired about lowering it:

"I want to tell you right now, no matter what you do, it will never be an M5. I get too many people in here who spend loads of cash to make it look like an M5, but it will never be an M5."

That being said, it's your money, do what you want. Looks great, but I agree with all above about the badging. //M is okay; //M5 is not IMHO.

Wewll thank you to all the opinions on my car!!
All I want to say is i cant believe how critical some of you actually are!!!
However I would not lower myself to some of your levels when you have put modifications on your cars which you wouldnt even put on a 1989 rusty ford fiesta. So all Im gonna say is look at yourselves, and remember the story of the pot and the kettle!!

looks great!
I would have to agree with the majority of the people here saying to lose the m5 badge...
Just get smaller sizing for 30i and place it there...
It could be really really small like really small
///M530i

For the money dumped into this... What, about 10k?

You could've threw in a little more and got the M5.

I saw an 06 roll through the auction last week 55kms.

The buyer picked it up for $47000 CDN. About $37000 USD.

Which auction is this?

When you badge your car to pretend that it is something it is not, you present yourself as a wannabee. If you are happy with your car, then be happy with it and don't post pictures here and "hope we like it". If you want your dick sucked, hire a hooker or find another forum. Otherwise, grow up, learn something, take the constructive criticism, and enjoy the forum.

Perhaps I am in the minority but you have the fake Rolex of BMWs. If you like the way an M5 looks so much, save your money on all those mods and buy one.

Ouch!

Seriously, most people on the forum liked the look of the car and all of its M5 appearance mods but, myself included, did not think that badging a non-M5 as a M5 was appropriate.
