Hey Guys,
I got the following message on my idrive: Drive Control Stabilty failure !
It has occured 3 times now, and in all cases it was when i took a corner to the right and then the fault dissapears after a few restarts later on in the day.
I have noticed that when the drive control stability system isnt working then when i turn on the turnsignal it doesnt automatically turn itself of again when im done cornering as it would do normally so im convinced that its my Steering angle module (SZL) or sensor ? that is the problem
My question is then where the module or sensor located and can i change this part myself ?
I've read that it needs calibration by bmw afterwards, can anyone confirm if i need to go to the dealer or if i can just change the faulty device myself and get my DSC to work again ?
Its not fun to drive without DSC in snowy conditions

ECU remapped by ZipTuning to 260+bhp.
When the message is gone, is it still there in the "Faults" section in iDrive? (Main menu -> i-Menu (push down) -> Service -> Stored faults)
If it is, just stop by a dealership, they need to calibrate your DSC.
Also, check your tirepressure, if one tire is seriously off, the DSC doesn't know what to do in the snow.
If it's NOT in your stored faults section, also stop by the dealership, could be something serious.
