Tough to order a car not knowing what the cost will be. If cars are arriving in April, why wouldn't BMW release pricing earlier? Or are the cars arriving in the showroom later than April?

I'm interested in Space Gray (that one is easy as it's on the 335) and Platinum Gray. Not sure where that one will fall, although my guess is that it will be closer to Titanium Gray than Silver Gray.

They wont release pricing until the car is debut in April. If you are in doubt, don't order one. My guess is that each car will about up about $500-$1,000.

I know what you mean, but we (the dealers) can't change their minds. Call FS and ask...

This is a real shock to me as well. I was all set to order a 535i manual and now this? There must be more to it, some issue we are not getting information on. If this decision is strictly market driven, a real bonehead move for sure.

Tough to figure out the 550i Sport. All that extra equipment makes it pure guesswork at this point.

FS.. Financial Services?

I'm still really upset about this. The only upside is that the money factor is undoubtedly going to be much much lower in September than the intro one if your guess is correct that it is .002 or higher.. That .0009 is very attractive.

Well, if you wait, yes it will go down. I don't think it will go down to .0065. Especially if you are going with a 535i/xi or 550i.

Clearly, options wont increase expect Sport Package. It is $3,300 now so figure $4,000. iPod/USB about $400. Lane Departure Warning system figure aroun $1,700-$2,000. The base price of all the cars will increase about $500 to $1,000.

I hope you're right. An additional $700 over the cost of the current Sport Package option to get the Aero body work, 19" wheels with non-runflats, M Sport suspension, etc. would be a bargain!

I agree - something tells me we will be looking at a $5K sports package on the 550. I can easily see 550s now going for mid to upper 70s with the sports package changes and new options (like lane dep and sport auto).

I dont know if the Sport Auto will be a upgrade (charge) on a 550i, on a 535i Sport yes, it will probably be similar to SMG.

No Way. Every dealer has to know in February what to pay when ordering their March production cars that will arrive in April. Dealer cost and sticker pricing will be available no later than Feb
