I wonder if they'll try to change the money factor much... it's the 2nd lowest they have across all models at the moment.. I'd hate them to bump it all the way up and make the care out of my price range...

Forceten,

have you figured out what your going to do about ordering a new facelift or getting the current model with all of its incentives? my buddy is the finance manger and he's pretty positive the money factor will change significanlty. he thinks at least $300. a month for the same money down with the same options. He just got back from the eastcoast, where they had some BMW meeting and the big topic of disscusion was how BMW needs to stop giving so many incentives, because these cars can sell just fine without them. I didn't catch all the details, because I guess I was more interested in finding out if I should cancel my order and switch to the facelift. By the way my car started being built on the 1/17, so hopefully i can a clear idea of what the heck i'm going to do.

Has Anyone nailed down the USDA price difference on the face lift yet?

I have an 07 530 on order that has a 1/17 build date. It's a no brainier if the the pricing is close, because i'll just cancel and apply to new.
the price i paid for the 530i w/: Titanium gray, sport, cold weather, premium, auto, side airbags, leather, and anthracite headliner was $53400. USDA

anyone; it would be nice to know before they start building a car for potentially open stock.
I think MF will be about .02, which is higher than the current MY 07 MF but still not too bad. The option that I am most curious about for the US market is the Sports package with the 550. This is essentially a Manual M5 with a V8. From the exhaust note to the 19" wheels and body styling it's an M5 without the V10.

I hope that you're right. I did an ED with a buddy about a year ago to pick up his 650. I was blown away by how much sportier it felt and sounded compared to my 545. I'm hoping for the same thing from the new 550 Sport.

The facelift is good news to company car drivers like me in the uk. Instead of just diesels I will now be looking more towards the new 530I, as It betters my car in every area including economy! 14 months to wait however, but it is very tempting.
