A lot of times there won't be information sent out about software updates regarding each model. There's a lot of things we can code/program specifically to each car, there's also a lot of fixes to random problems that aren't in SIBs. The only real way to tell if you car is up to date, is take it in and tell them PROGRAM MY CAR. If it's up to date it won't let us program the car. While he's in there setting up the programming have him look in the vehicle options list and see if theres an option for the eyebrows. But you might have to preapprove programming just in case it's not up to date. The nice thing about it, it programs every module in the car that has updates, not just one. Bmws programming software is slower than molasses. It's better than it used to be since it's able to program multiple modules at once now, but I just did a 2013 yesterday that took over 2 hours to do a complete update of the vehicle.

All you have to do is code the lights and they will work. I did this to my 04 545i . The were set to not active and I just enabled them and they worked.
