extended warranty

Sup guys im debating on getting the extended warranty since my car is needing service quite a bit. How much is a good price from the dealer? I don't want to get ripped off. Please post what u paid plus what's covered. Thanks in advance

why does your car need service quite a bit is my first question...as for the warranty part, please see the other thread somewhere below this thread

thanks man, ive decided not to buy it. shoulda searched but didnt have a chance to review the threads since i was on my phone.

don't get me wrong here, lots of people here think it's worth it to buy the extended warranty for the peace of mind and there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to this topic. If you have the extra cash, I would say go for it. You never know what may happen down the line. I've read horror stories about the transmission needs replacement or the engine itself and those cost much more than the cost of the warranty that you're paying for right now. As for me, I rather take my chance. The way I see it as long as maintain my car well, then it wouldn't get to that point, at least I hope not and even if it does get to that point, may be it's time for me to get a newer car.
