Extended factory (or non factory) Warranty

I believe that the Ford warranty is Fidelity, but I could be mistaken. Other good warranties (in addition to Ford) are: GMPP, MasterTech, Toyota, Honda, etc. Litle opportunity for these major companies to go out of business unlike third party warranties. About a dozen independent independent warranty companies fail annually.
For references, do not go to service advisor. Enlist the service mgr to read your contract. He knows all the buzz words. As others stated, select the exclusionary warranty.
Lastly, buy the warr prior to 24 months and 24k miles. I purchased MasterTech early, and my cost was $2600 for an additional 5 years and 80,000 miles on an E60.

Unless you have the new car warranty, I completely disagree with your comment since the BMW CPO warranty can be limited. Electronics such as Navi are NOT covered.
Please read this thread for additional help in finding an extended warranty. I was very happy to find out that Bruce M. was back offering warranty services. Hopefully this helps a few members.
