I did it one time on a corner while I was showing my buddy my car. We were both surprised when the rear end swung out. Flashbacks of those old 70s car shows.

My 530 is already a little weakling. No need for me to make it even more of one by keeping DSC and DTC on, right? =\

Almost always have the DTC off. I'd say only about %25 of the time I'll turn "ALL" off for a little wheel spin fun.

1. Car Control Clinic- DSC Full Off
2. When I want to slide into a turn - DSC Full Off
2. Certain snowy conditions - DSC Limited, DTC On

I drive in MDM mode all the time. When I want to do launches or really let the car rip, DSC has to be completely off. However, I need to make sure the tires are warmed up otherwise, I'll find myself skidding perpendicular to the road. Hahahahaha!

Only really when the bad weather calls for it to be limited, otherwise i just leave it as it is, don't get many chances to thrash her, so rarely gets messed with...

I've been wondering about DTC myself. The manual is not completely clear on this. I'm assuming that when people on this thread say "DTC off", they mean not touching the button at all. I generally drive my 6MT that way, but when I'm driving aggressively I hold the button down to fully disengage DSC. Rear tires won't last long doing that, but definitely a blast.

Does anyone use DTC for any sporting purpose, or is it solely for heavy snow conditions? I have my wrangler for that, so if that is the case I don't ever expect to see DTC illuminated on my dash.
