Hi Guys,

a Very good friend of mine owning a 545i 2005 is having a problem , when the engine is started (cold engine) the engine is running fine , as soon as the engine gets it's normal temperature is started tremblin , shaking.

What could cause this , even dealer cannot find problems.

Thanks

Hi,
We need more details:
1. How high (RPMs) is the engine running when cold and when hot
2. what do you mean by shaking ? Is it dropping RPMs below 500?
3. did you try to turn off the A\C and see if that makes any difference?

Wow. Again, no details. Did you read my post? How should we help you to troubleshoot the car if your response is so poor?

More info would help, I think what he is asking is...

What is the RPM?

Is it going up and down?

Is the shaking due to missfire?

What does the exhaust sound like when it is doing this?

Is the car in gear when it is happening?

Is it an automatic or a manual?

When did this start after a fill up at the gas station?

Check engine light going on?

Could be CCV valve, motor mount, could be bad gas, could be a bad connection, could be an issue when the car goes into closed loop, but Like mentioned all one can do is speculate without more info. Again the more info the better otherwise there will be a ton of answers available, but which one will correct you concern?
