Hi, I finally got a new crankcase vent complete with new style filter so I removed the old one and someone had been there before me and removed the original style filter and left the vent case empty. I fitted the new one but it has made no difference. I still have the check engine light on, I am getting the code 004501 on Carly which it says is the Exhaust Gas Recirculation control, could this be the EGR valve? anybody. thanks Paneuro.

 

Hi, I'm considering removing the EGR valve but have been reading that its only advisable if you do not have a DPF? any views. thanks Paneuro.
