I came across this and wondered, “if this were used, would it be safe to lift the car at points other than the designated jack points??” This would be huge for me because my DIY auto hobby shop has car lifts that just do NOT like my E60… it is almost impossible to get the car lift arms to align on the Jack points.

What say you guys?

 

My indy mechanic lifts my car close to the jack points, not exactly on them. I'm usually right smack on them, but I'm not lifting the entire car like my indy.
