Why does always a unknown hole get so much attention? is it because its shinny ?

honestly it's not a stupid question. Why really sits there are stares at their engine and familiarizes themselves with every nook of their engine? I probably have all kinds of threaded holes stuff. I guess if you haven't noticed a problem don't worry too much. I mean seriously, what kind of car should make you worry? lol
