Hey guys,

My car is a 2006 BMW 530i (N52 Engine). VIN is CM30564.

The production dates and the model of the two cars concern me. My 2006 530i (production date is 03/05) has an N52 Engine and the 2007 328i has either the N52N or N51. From www.realoem.com, the part numbers for each car are different. So, it is too soon to conclude they won't work?

I really don't want to fry my car computer or absorb any damages if a slight variance can cause it!

Can someone please confirm if this part is a direct fit for my car? And how hard is it to swap them?
