#2 Is the + Cable that has the explosive in it. The one the guys that did a read-out told me to replace.
When I measure the voltage / resistance on this cable, it seems to be intact. !
#9 is the ?emergency? wire. If I disconnect it (in the state my car is in) Everything goes out.
#1 is the negative. But the price for this wire is extremely high ! 217$
Could it be this wire also has sensors / explosives in it ?
Maybe this one is broken instead ??

I'm pretty sure only the postitive lead has the explosives.
Take a look at the following post and the post right after it:

Between the two posts above I think you'll learn a ton about the safety battery terminal...

Judging from the picture, one would think that after the explosive has gone of, the cable will not let any current pass true it.
Then why is my cable still functional?

Just came from the hospital?.
Seems The cable was OK after all.
After the BMW dealer in Hereveen (Netherlands) http://www.debeier.nl
reassured me the cable? explosive had gone off,
I decided to repair the cable manually bay drilling a hole in it,
and soldering it all together.
Well the thing blew up in my face. Shrapnel pierced everything, including my eye`s.
It even shot through my lenses!
The lesson here. Never trust car dealers Esp. ? De Beier Heerenveen ?.
Oh and always where safety gear !!
At least now I know it it isn?t the battery cable !

OKAY. now, you know that explosives can explode..
you should stay away from the airbags as well...
but if you say you read that the battery cable fault in the first place... how come its ok...
Did the dealer tell you wants wrong?
