Can anyone tell me the diiference between the Standard Set up and HiFI Speaker system in terms of the no of speakers and where they're situated in the car. My current car has speakers under the front seats, in the front doors by the armrests, and on the parcel shelf - 6 in total. Is this a Standard or a Hi FI setup? I didn't specify the options on the car as it was a showroom model! Many thanks

Thats the thing - never heard it. I have ordered it on new one but don't know if already have it on current car.

How many speakers have you got in yours?

 

I think it is like 4 or 6 speakers for the standard, 10 for the hi-fi and 13 for Logic 7. IMHO the step up from the standard to hi-fi is greater and has better bang for your buck than the step up from hi-fi to Logic 7. And yes the hi-fi has speakers under the front seats as does the Logic 7.

I'm sure you'll hear all about the greatness of the Logic 7 as the US comes online in the next few hours.

Hi-fi has a midrange and tweeter in each front door (4), a subwoofer under each front seat (2), and a set of midbass and tweeters in the rear deck (4) for a total of 10 speakers.

Logic 7 adds a midrange in each rear door (2) and a center chanel in the front dash (1) for a total of 13 speakers.

Not sure about the exact number and placement for the standard system.

 

id still go for the the logic 7...everyone talks about this standerd system and no one has said they have it... it keeps coming up as the hi fi model ...does it even exist ?
im not sure but i think i have the center channel as well... but not the rear door speakers..
mine lacks bass and i cant really hear anything when the windows are rolled down
so im thinking of adding a sub in the back to mine
everyone has there own opinion but with the logic 7 you get the Signal Processing sytem as well

You have the standard system. But the Hifi system isen't better of quality only it get some louder.
Logic 7 is a very good sound but that isen't cheap.
My dad just have the standard system whit 6 speakers and thats enough.
Hifi system doesn't give better quallity of the sound
