Hi tategoi,

Many thanks for the feedback. Who is diagonally opposite? Parallel importer? How much they selling the 325 with idrive and active steering opposite and the 335? Do they provide the same warranty as PML and how about servicing? My main concern buying from parallel importer is after sale service.
Yes, PI, Vincar. Check direct with Vincar for your other queries. I am sharing the same concerns as you regarding after sales support from PI. But PIs offer more option at lower prices. You just have to weigh the pro and cons with respect to your risk profile.

Interesting eh? PI selling at cheaper price. I've seen adverts of them pushing the M5 as well. Really makes one wonder what kind of support once the machine is sitting in your driveway.

My weekend warrior is the humble 4speed RX8 auto purchased from PIs. After researching some Rx8 forums, I've decided not to use the recommended PI's workshop. In fact I'm using another PI's recommended workshop. The touted 'free 5 year labour' aint just attractive enuf.

Somehow I feel there are risk involved in purchasing from the PI's. But there are so many BM specialist out there that such risk are mitigated. In a way, buying from a PI is not much different from buying a car which warranty has just expired. In other words....You're on your own.

Anyone here interested in installing a video interface and reverse camera from http://www.doseongms.com/?
I have a set that is used for less than a month. Decided to take it out because I have decided against installing a Macmini in the near future. PM me with your offer if you are interested.

I am always around. You are one of the old forumers that had gone missing. For Garmin stuff, this is the site to go: http://www.malsingmaps.com/forum/mod...hp?name=Forums

Hi Silverbeem. No, its the new Gen 5 VI with seperate remote. It also comes with iDrive control unit that allows you to switch video channels using the original iDrive controller without the remote.

All Nuvi's do not come with Mapsource anymore.
Mapsource only bundle with a map dvd that garmin sells.
the same goes with enroute.
