Thats their promise, but since your car will be in next week, no point risking the loss. May as well wait for his next visit and who knows; he may have tweaked a few more horses into the remap?

greg,

for the mac mini install you need the following.


1.The web site is mp3car.com. the power convertor, part nos is CNX-1900 which is US$99.95 , you must add in the mAC power option which is about US$5.56. This option would enable you to tie the front power switch of your mac-mini to this power supply so that your PC would go to sleep when your ignition key is off and wake up when you start your car

2.video interface herad theres a newrer one.and an video out connector from your mac to interface.


3. call ah boa for install.pm you his hp.

4.ask lmk.

guys please chip in any info for him.

Ya the 545 is tight at corners.. must be the roof...
Its a slacking beast... need to go for a good run soon.

Might help that Ed's car is a solid roof one and his engine has been "runned-in" properly..... Yours on the other hand sits at home looking nice..... engine might not have been 'runned-in" properly.....

Rob did say he would look into upping the power of the 523 by more than what he can do now.... but I really wouldn't hold my breath......

Maybe we can takan him tomorrow.....

What say you guys????

It does feel better..... or rather, more powerful..... now the car go faster, got to find a way to slow down the car.....money to speed it up, money to slow it down..... damn man.... every which way but lose.....

how many quids does rob charge for the 23's? the power gain commensurate with the dough he charges. 900 quids should be full fledge. he charged e90 330i at 400 quids so as expected not much gain can be felt on those 3 liter valvetronics.

Check with Douglas.... his 630 had the DMS done.... but its the valvetronic N52 model.... If your engine is the M54 one, they could quite possibly bring it up to the new engine specs.....

They claim that my 525 is more powerful than the M54 3 litre (stock) unit and a 'near' match for the N52 one..... go figure....

I am planning to dyno my car tomorrow to check my bhp..... anything above 235, I will be happy.... anything above 240, I will be happier..... anything below 230, tio-pak tomorrow evening........
