lmk,

do you use bootcamp or parallels? i should think parallels work better cos no need to reboot into xp. I dunno if parallels will support the bluetooth gps device. can you verify?

Guys, getting bored of the E60. Thinking of a change but so far, there seemed nothing really good or comparable to look at until I came across a black CLS this morning. The driver followed my M from Nee Soon all the way to AMK Ave 5. Had a chance to really have a prolonged look at the car and that has kinda changed my opinion of it somehow. It looks good in black!!!

Seow leow, the itch has begun!!!

Bear in mind that a portable GPS is not only to be used in Singapore. You used it everyway and whenever you need it. For example, Lincoln road, if you do a general search on the road, you may end up 20 or more roads with the same name. But if you narrow it to state search, only 1 Lincoln road will appear.
Therefore the design of GUI includes state selection which is necessary when you go to places like USA.
For Singapore map, you just need to input state as Singapore. No pain.
Anytime means, it is due to be out in May in the USA.
As far as i know, no local set of Nuvi is selling here.
Ok thanks, I'm a bit blur about GPS stuff...so Nuvi is more a hand held type of GPS vs the c320 which is more for cars rite?

i use bootcamp.
i agree on the booting part, a pain. until Apple can come out with a boot sequence without having to press on Alt button.
i cannot verify on bluetooth on parallels as i have not tried it. but i think you can opt for sharing of serial com ports and select a fixed port for bluetooth access. this can be done on VPC.

True to that extend.
but both are actually portable from cars to cars.

What i like about Nuvi is the slim form factor whereas c320 is bulky when i travel.

play with the device before you buy.

Dunno man, the CLS looked very nice from where I was seated. Must take a look at the interior before anything else. Too premature to really mention anything now, but I am 100% sure I will not enjoy the service level I'm getting right now from the guys at Kg Arang. I have to say the car looks really solidly built leh. Wah, backside really itchy after operation

before your full recovery, better don't go for test drive....the G force may split your wounds....You should be on normal solid diet than liquid food right? except no Curry fish head only.
If not, double sensation!

Like that we must agree on a brand and then negotiate for a group buy aka "fleet discount"

P.S. Backside not physically itchy. I was referring to my itch to change car
