Sounds like you are getting a very big discount from PML. The price I got was more than about $1.2K per rim for staggered configuration - 8.5J and 9.5J.

The correct tyre size for 19" 166 is 245/35 in front and 275/30 in the rear.

Was your quote for 8.5J all around?
8.5J all round. The correct one is 245 front and 275 back. Since mine is 520, afraid power might be an issue according to some. So putting 245 around instead and at the same time can rotate the wheels.
Personnaly, I have no experience on wheel othe then those comes with the car.

Just found out , the price I had posted is before GST which is 5% for PML. Chin Wah had the GST included.

You're right and wrong. With 8.5" width, you can only use 245 all round. You can stagger only if your rear rims are 9.5" wide. 245 all round is good anyway. Also, according to the vehicle manual, you do not have to rotate your tyres. Its supposed not to be cost effective and a waste of time. Personally, I feel the E60 is set up quite well in the sense that the tyres don't wear out on one side even if you don't rotate.

One of those complain letters sent to PML with regards to theor service performance. This guy own two units of BMW. I wonder whether the CEO would respond or treat it as one of those letters.

we all expected what type of answer PML will give, therefore complaining to them does not really help.
Straits times is waiting for more bad service news of PML. Goto them. A small article about bad service beside PML advertisement of excellent service in the ST can achieve very good impact.

Once their sales is not so good, we all then can receive better service...haha!

I told PML before, " I don't complain, i just don't come back!"

I think someone asked this a year or so back. It's dark blue, right? I saw a few times last year dropping someone off in the morning at Capital Tower.

Hi Guys

Just when I've made up my mind to take the plunge for 523, here comes the Yin & Yang case. But I guess I'm a sucker for the "Ultimate Driving Machine"!

The current price of 523 is $175K. Can another let me know what is the best deal I can squeeze out from PML?

Thanks

Recently was told 171 or 172 before financial kickback. But I don't think that's the best price judging from the OMV and current COE level.

Not a very good time to buy a BMW now. They hit their target last year and are not too keen to reduce their pricing now. Even the salespeople are getting a little cocky. If you can wait till the new Merc E is launched. I am 101% sure PML will rework their pricing.

If you can wait that long. Otherwise October may be a good time; when they realise that they're behind on their set target.
