Collected the M6 from PML today after first servicing. Mileage shows 1850Km, so still very careful with the speed and revs. Took it out this evening to clock more mileage. This car is fantastic. I took it up to 180Km/h this round with such ease. It rides so steadily with no hint of the speed and no roll when taking the slight curves near Pasir Laba. On the way back, I went into Old Upp Thomson Rd just to confirm the road holding. Boy was I impressed!!! My 545 couldn't do it so quickly and smoothly. Managed to bring the odometer up to 1993 tonight. Can't wait to try and push it further tomorrow.
My only regret is that I may not get many chances to bring it up to the limit. I probably won't visit Malaysia very often in this car and neither do I track, but then, maybe, just maybe I might join the BMW-SG boys up north to Sepang one of these days. Until then its money wasted driving along Singapore roads.

ed,
which road can go 18.0km/h with out trodding on white ants you may pm me.
i thought the guys at pml are not techinically trained enough to service your car if got probs(touch wood)
great risk running your m6 with other cheaper car at sepang leh
money wasted driving in sg sure but the satisfaction of owning one and turning heads every where you go surpass every thing.

Well, I drive at speed along the expressways. However, once in a while I do cruise along at about 50kph within the CBD.
I am sure, Zag, when and if you do get your M3 you will be cruising along at 10 - 15 kph wherever you go. Then it'll be rupiah well spent!!!

when paying in rupiah is always money well spent coz it only cost half of what pml charge here vs. the dealer who accept rupiah.

Not quite true. I know a lot of owners having good feedback on KW's. Var3 is perhaps an overkill. Koni as I understand is much firmer than KW. Of course for Var2 and Var3 one can crank it till the car becomes a bone shaker.
4pm. East Coast Park carpark at Ford Road?
