Folks, just got quoted $2160 all in for PS2s, 2x 245-40R-18 + 2x 275-35R-18

It's pretty good price? Thought I'll run it by you guys before pulling the trigger.

I think you've got a reasonable deal. Why don't you check with Zag? He might be able to get you something better with his connections with Tyre Rack.

Eggz, thats definitely a good price. My set of 4 x 245/40/18 Rosso already cost more than 2k.

The SGD 280.00 antaenna works okay for me. CS Chua came by today and saw it. Worth a try if you don't mind paying more than you did the TV module.

I am also having problems with the TV not coming on the first try. Always gotta restart the car. Quite irritating actually. I think its a problem with the TV module; maybe we should start scouting for something better. I understand from the Malaysian boys that there's a unit that costs about SGD 700 plus. Didn't dare ask more because it seemed like they never stop recommending but who can blame them?

Guys,

just hold for a while. the digital tv is still new at the moment, i am sure there'll be good tv module coming on the way. i am on a lookout. once i got better information, i will post it here.

Sorry to hear that. I also booked well in advance for 2 jobs and they only put updating my idrive software as the job.

I might have seen your wife waiting there.

Found my two weeks new 523i roof leaking after heavy rain this afternoon ! what should I do, just accept the rectification ? one of them is near the c pillar where airbag is.

Even the trunk sheetmetal where the speaker is has rusty stain seems due to water drop.

Hi gshock88

This is the GreatestShock I have seen on an E60!! My first suspicion will be that your ride may have been re-furbished after some "unforeseen accident" in transit.

My advise is for you to go to PML and reject the car - it is definitely a lemon man  Look for Mr Robert Friend, the After Sales Director, he is the man to see.

Thanks a lot for advise. Has anyone really successful in rejecting car from PML and get a new one ? should I engage a lawyer ? as you know no lemon law yet.

If my memory serves me right, there were a couple of cases where owners won their legal battle with PML. But you may want to work this out with Mr Robert Friend first, he may have better alternatives for you.

I had a friend who once bought a brand new car (thankfully not a bimmer!) and found that the left windows' brand is different from that of the right - his instinct proved right when he got his car evaluated. It was involved in an accident before it was handed to him. He got a brand new car as replacement after a few very nasty legal letters to the distributor - he is a lawyer!!

Thanks. I will have a lawyer and legal cost standby. Certainly hope to resolve this amicably.

By the way, should I let them work on the car immediately ? while having a loaner. Should there is any further arguement or legal battle, the "evidences" could be gone !
