Yeah the S-class, previous generations of this car always had something that was the first in a production car.

eg S-class was first to have ABS, first ot have airbags, first to have airmatic suspension

I think for this generation, it's the first to copy a competitor's car so shamelessly

 

Hi SOC Fans. PSA is Port of Singapore Authority. It is our port here. The place where I took the pictures is known as Pasir Panjang Wharves. It is where the RORO (roll on roll off) vessels unload their Cars. I heard that C&C are already taking in orders for the S Class. The one in the photo is so far the only S Class that I have seen. There are many other models parked there but only ONE S350 and ONE B200. I believe they were either brought in by parallel importers or C&C for homologation purposes before being shown to the public.

Greetings! Newbie to this forum. Met some of you a couple of months back at Kallang meetup. Currently waiting for the delivery of my new ride. Was told I could get my car this week, thinking that I can join you guys this coming Sunday. Sadly, I was told I have to wait another week to take delivery, even though the car is already sitting at PML. Apparently, I was told the HUD that comes with my ride is still pending LTA approval! THought the HUD has been cleared by LTA! Urghhhhh....

Anyway, looking forward to catch up with you guys soon. Cheers!

Think there are already couple of M5s running on the road with HUDs projecting all over the shop. No reason why yours should be awaiting LTA approval.

Its ok if you haven't got your 525i yet, you can still join us with your E39 this sunday. I believe it'll be quite a big turnout. Oh and you'll be welcomed by Totoseow doing his flagship donuts.
