Iceman, noticed your car has glossing showdow line trim on the door frame. Where did you get it from and how much you paid for it? Thanks.

That's an SA option in Germany. We can order the car this way.

German options:

No shadow line / regular: chrome on window surroundings
shadow line: window surroundings are dull black, no chrome
Individual shadow line: glossy shadow line, painted black.

The Individual shadow line is standard on Emmys and Individual cars...

Iceman, thanks very much. There is no such option in Singapore.

GKKK, thanks for the compliments. They are just stickers on the roundels, available from Bimmian. There are many colour to choose from. But the delivery to Singapore is a nightmare. 3 deliveries to my home address at Tampines got lost before a 4th and final one reached me at my office address in Shenton Way, about 3 months later. I heard Bangkok selling the carbon fibre emblems for around US$25 for a pair of front and rear. Check out the Bimmian, it had other accessories as well.

Yes, Tategoi, where did you get the wire mesh from? Getting my ride this Saturday (hopefully) and will like to get some things (incl wire mesh) fitted.

Can you PM me with the details?

Are any of you guys interested in the soon to be released M Sport bodykit? Has anyone had a retrofitted body kit installed in Singapore? Any recommendations which shops do a competent job installing and painting these kits?

The wire mesh bought from a car accessories shop, they are not BMW ones. Can't really remember where I get it from. MacWell Venture at Ubi maybe?

Tategoi, thanks for the PM.

6spdman, Ah Long does a fantastic job in installation and spray painting. He does not sell bodykits though. Don't know his official address but he is loacted at Pandan Cresent. His joint is above the Lumbogini showroom, up the carpark ramp. If not sure, you can either check with Russel of Bronze Carmen or Lye from Lye Designs.

Collecting my ride tomorrow. Hope I don't have to walk away disappointed because I promised PML I'd do just that if I detect any problem.

Collected my brand new ride today. Everything went okay except for the paintwork. To be fair, I instructed PML against polishing the car for fear of swirl marks surfacing. Will be sending my ride to Bronze Carman for ZYMOL on Monday. The ACS kit fitted locally looks just great on the car. Will post pictures after that.

I must say that the 545 feels great to drive; to some extent even better than the 735 LI / E66 it replaces. Swopped my run-flats for Michelin PS2 today.
