Woodbeast: To answer your other question, your auto will be shipped to CA and probably not trucked across country. Sorry, but I don't know where the CA VPCs are It is totally awesome in every way. You will be very pleased.

Hey Icy and kingerka,

Are you able to track your car using OC? I have a Purchase Order number from my Military Sales guy but OC says it's not valid. I am buying a US spec car so you think it would be in the system but I haven't had any luck.

Yes, I got my production number last week and it doesn't work at the OC. Other forum members report it sometimes takes several days or weeks for the DB to be updated but I'm not sure that's the answer.

Have either of you guys figured out a way to make your Handy's work? I've talked to the telephone guy at Schaefer BMW in K-Town and he says he needs to look at the car before he can quote a solution. My plan is to buy a new phone once I know what my options are.

According to my dealer this is our situation. We have our cars through BMWNA technically. Since our cars are warranteed over here in Germany, that is why we are not in the OC database. I believe our phones will not work with the car as well. That was the word I received back in October. Could have changed though. I will have to ask.
