E60 Intake Boot
Could someone help explain why there are 2 intake boot variations for 2007 E60? Here's the link.

I called the local BMW and they insisted that I order part 13717521029. This also matches on RealOEM. Turns out the part does not have the hose connector. Upon checking on FCP Euro, the part that matches is 13717537613.

This happens when BMW updates a part. 13717537613 is the older part number and it has been superseded by 13717521029. What hose connector does the part not have?
