Has anyone replaced or repaired their E60 horns before? And by "anyone replaced"... I mean DIY (not taking it to the dealer). I've referenced my E60 repair manual and do not see anything about the horn locations. I've heard that it's behind the front bumper which involves bumper removal, but I just want to pick your brains regarding location and replacement. Recently had a fender bender and I suspect that the body shop didn't hook up the other horn (I've only got a single horn tone). I will probably end up upgrading the horns in the process. Thanks for any help you all can provide!!!

yeah, the horn is in front of the front passenger side tire....behind the bumper/wheel well. you may be able to get to it by removing the splash guard underneath, and reaching up.

I pulled them out simply by removing the headlight.

yea when i went to do hid fogs and removed the headlight it was sitting right there
