Default E60 headlights flickering and rev counter needle moving up and down

Hi There,

I need help or advise with my BMW 525i M Sport 2007 manual.

The problem is that when I cold start my car the rev counter needle is moving up and down and it feels like the car is about to turn off. This only happens for a few seconds and than its back to normal apart from the headlights both angel eyes and headlights are flickering on both sides too.

The car drives OK, so I drove it to service and the man placed the car on computer and he found out that there is a fault with pressure differential manifold (no other faults) and it has to be changed. Im not sure what it is and if it will fix both of these problems.

So my question is will this fix both of these faults or are these separate issues? What I was thinking that the pressure differential sensor is sending massages to spark plugs and fuel (I thinks that the car is using to much fuel as well) so both of these are giving power to the car so in my opinion that is why the lights are flickering. I might be far off because I do not understand much about car technical bits.

I am frustrated because the service is not calling me back about these issues and it seems like they don't even know what are they doing with this problem of mine.

Thanks, any replay would be great !
