E60 Fan issues, AUC sensor?

I am unaware of the AUC stopping your fans. To the best of my knowledge the AUC sensor is purely used to turn on automatic re-circulation of the cabin fan by closing the fresh air flap. I don't see any reason for it, and I am quite certain, to change or shut off the fan speed for the cabin, it certainly would do nothing for the radiator fan itself. The radiator fan is pwm variable speed fan controlled by the ECU. Does the coolant temp sensor show that the engine is up to temp?

E60 engine temp at 110 within engine normal range. So fan will not change to high speed. In my opinion, E60 have a very good electronic waterpump, it has more control on temp. Its more likely for computer make faster waterpump than faster fan, especially on idle.

Ooh, I'm sorry, i miss information. In my n52 engine, warm engine warning at 123.and overheated at 125. I reached that a year ago, when my pump died. I don't know for m54 warning. Did you flush your radiator coolant?
Btw, there is 2 coolant sensor in e60. According to pelican parts, engine coolant temp sensor with ac data collected at dme and control fan speed.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post!
First things first, my car has M54 engine, which has mechanical water pump NOT electronic.... So its still belt driven.
Also, i couldn't remember the exact temp when it overheated but i had IDrive warning : car overheating or something, drive moderately. and i guess the temp was around 120 even...
But still no fans..
