Hello,
I own a 2008 528i and lately the engine fan has been running on high almost all the time. It is not permanently on high as it doesn't kick in when the car is cold ie. after first starting it up.

It is very loud and I can hear the fan when idling at a red light. Not sure what this is about as all of the computer readouts indicate nothing wrong and the temp gauge is where it always is.

Any ideas as to why my engine fan is on high so much?

I am in Canada...so not a hot climate issue. ;-)

Thanks

does your car have an electric fan or belt-driven fan?
