hi after some advice on my 2007 525d,
over the weekend was driving when the fuel pump failure fault code came up on my screen and the car started staling and breaking down before finally it came to a stop and would not restart. i organised recovery and an hour later when he arrived the car started up and drove fine ! got it recovered to my local garage and they read the faults
-4590 rail pressure minimum
-4560 rail pressure to low
they are a bit stuck as to where to start as it is now all working ?
is there a common issue that causes this on the e60 ?
relay ?
low pressure ?
high pressure ?
any help would be amazing !

We don't see many diesels this side of the fish pond. Possibly one of the British e60 forums can assist better, sorry.
