Does anyone know if the intake fuel pump for an 08 535i is covered under an extended warranty. NOT the high pressure fuel pump or HPFP that was recalled. Any help appreciated.

Could you argue that it falls under the california emissions warranty which I think is up to 100K?

Should be covered....the only thing the BMW extended warranty doesn't cover is wear and tear items and you have a 50$ deductible. I have yet have any justified work getting rejected!

It's actually the Maxcare warranty through carmax. Oh I did mention the the Cali emission thing and they caved! Dodged a $700 bullet there. Thanks for the speedy response! Wouldn't have known to mention that.
