Welcome, and thanks for thinking of us. I saw the recall notice earlier, but am not concerned. I assume that we will get letters in the mail if our cars are affected. Or, we'll find out when we go in for service I would imagine. I don't want to drive another Mazda 6 if I can help it--unless I am absolutely desperate for a car.

I love this statement from the bulletin:

"To minimize the customer inconvenience caused by this Recall Campaign, pick-up (and deliver after repair) the affected vehicle from customer's home and provide appropriate alternative transportation.

Customers will be impressed when you return their cars cleaned inside and out and with a full tank of gas. Reimbursement information for the vehicle fueling and valet costs may be found in the Warranty portion of this bulletin."

I know that everyone has gripes here and there---and local dealers can certainly impact your opinion-- but BMW rocks. This is awesome customer service coming from a manufacturer.

It is great service, but, as said, I don"t like Mazda 6's, and I won't let my dealer wash my car. They do a miserable job of washing. And, I darn sure would not let whoever they send drive my modded car. Anyway, I like hanging out at my dealer. I've made many friends of those who work there, and I like the donuts, coffee, mega screen hidef TV, computer access, looking at cars, and etc. I think my dealer is great except for car washing and providing only Mazda 6's through the Auto Mall's on-site Avis, or is it Hertz, outlet.
