Default e60 535i radiator fan does not blow, a/c not cold.

Hi All,
First time poster. I have a wonderful 2010 535i which I love to death, but I have been having some issues. About a year ago I was leaving for a new work contract when car dash lit up like a christmas tree and would not go into gear. Took off in a different car and the e60 had to sit for months before I could give it attention. Was finally able to get it to a mechanic while I was away and turns out my alternator was bad. Alternator was replaced and had to sit for a few more months before my contract was up. I'm finally back and started driving the 535i again when I noticed my A/C wasn't blowing cold. I'm not familiar with A/Cs so took it back to mechanic who said there was nothing wrong with system and all it needed was a charge. Fine, system was charged got back on the road and a few days later its blowing hot again. Only code was 00A559. I read on a forum that the radiator fan not working will cause A/C to not blow cold, and when I checked the fan it was not engaging. Before I left on my work contract I had just replaced the waterpump and just changed the temperature sensor. The cable for the fan is getting juice but still won't activate. As I was checking the voltage on the temp sensor, I unplugged the sensor and fan kicked on high. So the fan works but does not engage. This caused 00E719 to show up. no other codes, using Carly. Will the car run with the temp sensor unplugged or will this cause the water pump to not turn on? Im sure my explanation is a jumbled mess but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need to charge your battery and reset codes and see what you get. Your system is being shut off due to battery drain. What gets me is if the a/c worked after filling you may just have a leak in your system

It's a new battery that was replaced with the alternator. Codes are cleared after each instance with 00E719 being the latest and only code to come up when i disconnected the temp sensor.

You said the alternator was replaced a few months ago so surly the battery is weak right now unless you charged it.
