E60 535d with 6sp manual

hi all,
I'm a newbe to this forum. My dealer (from Asia) just told me that it's possible to place an order for E60 535d 6sp manual (for Jan'07 production). That's quite weird since I searched the whole web, including BMW sites, but found no signs of 6sp manual for 535d due to torque issue.
Could it be a hoax? Is there any similar news from other marekts?

As far as I know, there is no manual BMW 'box that can keep up with the torque of the 535d. And this is not about to change, no matter which geography you are in. If anything, things are going to get worse with the new alloy block engine in the 335d, as it has even more torque (580 Nm)
Your dealer is spouting taurine excrement. Unless he thinks that a car with 535d on the boot will be a 535d, in which case there's no problem. The lettering is available as spare parts.

I read somewhere that the new X5 with 35d engine will be available with 6sp manual. 
I don't think that the torque is the only problem. A chipped 30d 6sp manual can handle with +600nm with no problem, and there are other cars from factory with that nm and manual gearboxes. Audi found a way to win the 24h Le Mans with a sequential gearbox (1100nm).

Sorry to inform you Tiago you can do it, but for how long ?
535d it's exclusive auto because of the torque!
And if you upgrade the 530d to that torque you can have serious problems.
The BMW manual gear box can't handle som much torque...

I know 2x 330cd with 300hp and 650nm. One of them made more than 100.000km with any problem.
BTW - I very much doubt they pull out 650 Nm.

mine was serviced for the first compulsary, no wear was identified, no problems, these 3L can be tuned upto 400Hp than you can use it for max. 50.000 Km, but until 270 you can do it mine is only 265 Hp but it as normal at. However I agree that the clutch would be strengthen at that torque and who can shift faster than todays electronics ? even if you kick in the clutch as in Fast and Furious 
I think auto is ok as it is for the diesels at least.
