E60 530d issues while driving
Hey guys!
On my 2004 530d i’ve noticed while cruising in 60-70 in 4th gear, the rpm needle tacks just a bit up and down (like say from 1500 rpm to 1400/1450).
When this happens it also feels like the car stalls and «jerks». I’ve changed airfilter and cleaned EGR. The converter on the car has been bad for a while, but with the converter fault I get the big jumps on the tacs and the surging along with it. So any ideas on what to check next?

Hi!
if You have automatic tran, could be thing which i know as hydro-coupling or smth like that (needs to be restored usually after 300k)
if manual, i think you need a new clutch
