Thanks for your previous advice on the purchase of a E60. Below is a picture of my new (to me) car.

Nice looking car. I bought a new 520D SE last September. Just missed the new engine but still getting amazing fuel economy for this size of car. Averaging 39 mpg around town and 55 mpg on motorway at 75 mph on cruise. Beats my Saab previously. Let me know know how you go with yours.

Yeah, it's the very same. Came with 133,000 miles on the clock and cost me ?6250 in the end, including a full tank of fuel, radar detector/gps camera thing & four extra wheels + tyres with 8000 miles on them (the pic shows them, I'd just taken off the old 16's)

I have to say the interior of these cars really stand up to the mileage.
