Dear Members, My E60 cd player is not working, when i go to select the CD player from I-drive, its grayed out, everything else works fine, i have unplugged the whole unit few times but it didnt make any difference,its the standard in dash cd player, no sat nav, i will appreciate any help, or i can even meet members in there free time to show the problem in dublin area,thank you

The good news? What you need to replace will be MUCH cheaper than mine was (I have NAV).
The bad news? The iDrive is a single unit that consists of the CD, radio, iDrive computer. Basically you are going to have to replace everything below the climate controls in your center dash, except the wood.

On the bright side, if you wanted NAV, now would be a good time to install it.

Not sure, mine was around $650, but that was with NAV. You can check on realoem.com, they have MSRP prices there, but you will probably end up paying much less - I did.
