That's very close to the e60 m5. I think it would be a neck and neck battle. The same time is achived for -100 but the e60 m5 does the 200km mark in 15 seconds. That's very very close. Considering the e60 m5 has the advantage of the smgIII gearbox the battle is very tight. A derestricted e60 m5 i think will walk away at top speed though.This is a must see battle anyway...but certainly it will not whip the e60's ass that badly as you say it would.

My friend has an E39 530 and just bought a 2003 E30 M5 (blue with 23kmiles), car looks and its amazing...the engine sounds meaner than mine, so I picked on him the first night he got the car and since I feel my car engine is strong for some reason I said why not..
..we went on a dissolated street and hit a couple times before we went for dinner and I was getting a jump and pulling a bit away . we could not explain it.. then after dinner i drove his car and felt it a bit sluggish we did not know..end of week came up and he needed to refill the free gas the car came with it..all of the sudden the car almost stalled at start up, it coughed a few times and the engine was smooth as silk.. I drove his car again and fekt a lot stronger compare to the first time a few nights before.. so we deduced the dealer put gas with 87 octane on thecar, and the M5 knock sensors where actuating and reducing the power... even like that I think I have a shot ..someday..he did not want to play again.. and he showed me some stats where his car made it to the 4.8sec and my car to 5.2sec...and I said yes but you are not Michael schumaker nor a professional driver.. he just laugh ..
