I am intending to upgrade my E39 to E60 but two weeks ago I had electrical and speed sensor problems with my car that cost me $775 and today on my way to work I had another problem, a minute into the freeway I suddenly lost power and the traction light, EML and the engine check light turned on. I couldn't accelerate the car like I want it to, it was very hesitant. I was very lucky to drive the car to the dealer but only at 20 mph the most. The service agent gave me an estimate of $479. I'm having second thoughts now, all this technology in the car is just making it so expensive to repair.
