My Ride: E60 545i, 2004. Alpine white, ventilated seats, confort seats, bluetooth, HI-FI Audio, Electrical Rear Blinds, manual Side blinds, Sport Package, Confort Glass,Active steering, Business Navigation
I had today a Dynamic Idrive Failure message on the screen, with explanation on not to take bends on high speed as car will lean more than usual.
i got the message when i was at a red light, immediatly i restarted the car and the message is gone
should i worry about anything, did any one experienced such think. i serached the forum but i could not find any info

I've had it a few times.
Once it was a bad sensor. Another it was a little air in the steering rack.
It's amazing how the car leans when the Dynamic Drive isn't functioning.
It will probably come back within the next week or so.
Next time it happens, take a picture of it so you can show your Service Advisor. The last time it happened to me I got it 3 times before I brought the car in and the SA indicated to me that the cars computer did Not record any fault. Hmmmm...

I have had this happen before a couple times. Usually when I get lazy and enter a tight turn in third gear instead of second. The excess body lean must tigger the warning. I have always just turned off and restarted my car - never any problem. Good luck

it happened right after a U-turn, but i took the u-turn on dead spead!!!!
these cars are very sensitive peace of machinary
