When i switch my E60 on i can?t see any icon on the dash refering to the Dynamic Drive.
Is this normal?
Does the icon come on only when there's a problem in the system?

The owner's manual says the icon/symbol (looks like a rear view of a car tipped slightly) lights up and a message appears on the Control Display to indicate a malfunction.
