My Ride: 2005 BMW 545I Titanium
FULLY LOADED:
Parking Sensor, Navigation, Cold Weather Package, Premium Package, Sports Package, Logic 7 Surround Sound System, Black Leather Interior, Wood Grain Package, Power Seats, DTC, DSC
I have a bmw 545i 2005 with Navigation. It has a dvd player slot (for NAVI)
My question is how do i make it a dvd player on the idrive?
I notice a few cars on here that had a dvd playing on the screen.
Help is appreciated.

Short answer : it cannot be done -slot is for DVD navigation only.
Long answer: anything is possible if you have enough ingenuity , patience and money.
