Interesting. Assuming that the same bias exists in the US market (possible) then I'd have to chalk it up to more aggressive tires or a touchier throttle on the BMW, or perhaps more sensitive steering... all characteristics of the BMW.

Nope all season Michellins, factory installed. DSC was fully on. My wife's XC90 behavied much better, I couldn't put it into a spin.

While the wheels are spinning quite a bit, it's clear the drivers are steering through turns, correcting and re-correcting. Obviously, there's no way to know what the state of the DSC is...on, part-off, DTC on, or all off. I think you can maybe do all of these, but we haven't had any slippery precip in Boston yet, so I haven't had a chance to try the alternatives.
