What did you think about the driving dynamics of the new 3 series. I thought it was very nice.
To me, the engine/drive characteristics feel more like a 530. Which is odd cause the 530 is a heavier/larger car with the same engine.

IF the radio station has the capability it can tell you the song playing, the artist, the time, traffic, etc. My 01 Alero had it and only 2 stations in Ohio broadcast with RDS more than just the station - and depending on recpetion sometimes only get a part of it. In NEohio not really a big deal.

About the car to look it self. The dealer fixes it, he programs the key.
you should be able to activate the automatic locking of the doors as u can do it on the 5 series through the idrive. I suggest looking through the setting menu on the on board computer, unfortunately i don't have access to an E90 to check it out for u but i do remember vaguely from when i drove one.
The car must be stationary when u look through the menu as a lot of the options disappear when the car is in motion. On the indicator stalk use the thumb wheel to get into the vehicle menu settings (it will be displayed in the screen the on board computer is displayed). Just go through all the menu's and options, using the OBC button to select an option and u should find it.
Good luck and sorry i cant give u more specific instructions!!
