I have read a lot of posts regarding door seals. I have been fortunate and have not had any problems on my July 04 build (2004 545i) with 15k miles.

Just this week, I noticed my drivers door starting to make noise.

When where the door seals upgraded? I am assuming I have the old version.

You do have the old seals. New seals just came out a few weeks ago here in the states. Still having trouble getting them as they are on backorder.

Our local BMW dealership is finally going to change mine today. It gets pretty annoying after awhile....

Don't bother changing them. The problem will be back after a few weeks. You'd be better off with that adhesive they stick to the underside of the door frame.
