Cool, so how do you make them fold? Is there a switch I need to buy in order to electronically fold them?

I got it to work with that module. Its not autofold, but its folding by a press of a button. I still haven't tried to find a way to activate it by folding with my alarm yet. Haven't had the chance.

You have to take apart the mirror and look for a yellow and white wire. If you have that, most likely you'll be able to make them fold.

if you have folding mirrors by switch on drivers door, then i can activate auto fold by remote, but have the option to choose when to fold.

Even if the mirrors have that wire, our model year don't have the module to support the autofold function. And that's why you did that mod.

well i just purchased my M5 mirrors, frankly I just got them for the looks... can care less about the folding part at this moment. But for sure, it will be something I work on when I have time.

If it makes you feel any better, I never fold my mirrors. I like how the car looks when they're not folded. It gives the car a much more pronounced/beefy look, even for something so minor.
