I just left a MB 220 CDI (rent a car) whose seat belt chime /cry was worse, very annoying and persistent, BMW chime is an angelic sound compared to.

Good, but I wonder will u be thinking the same thing as you go through the windshield. While u are at it, you might as well disable the airbag as well.

Mom and dad have nothing to so with it. They didn't introduce the law over here that fines heavily if a driver isn't belted up. Besides, there is a slight case of 'self-preservarion' in the case of an accident. I'd like to think I'd be able to walk away.
