I noticed my odometer was at 6777 miles today.

This is weird because last Sunday it was at 4000 miles. I remember because I had checked the miles to oil service remaining and it was at 7000 and I had checked the odometer and it was 4k.

We took a short trip on Sunday about 150 miles round trip.

What's going on?
That's a cool trick. I only know how to turn my odometer off or set it back.

I was just kidding....but if you switch up the keys you use every now and then, you might find your way around it.

Don't care about resale that much as I'm in it for the long haul.

I don't know whether I understood your post, but could you have used a different key the day that the odometer changed? Units of measure is tied to key memory, so your second key may be set for kms.
