Now I know, thanks though! I polished one rim with Mothers Billet and looks really good from far away. It took off the tarnish/brownish stain but if you look really close to it, it looks like it got baked on the clear coat. So eventhough its shiny, there is always going to look imperfect.
Should I do the rest of the wheels or let the dealer look at it? How far will they go anyways to retify the situation? They wont get it refished or even go as far as replacing them, will they? thanks again, I hate to drag this on

I'd take it to the dealer so they can see the others. They may deny they did it since time has elapsed...depends on the dealer. It's etched, so unfortunately, it's going to require some $$. Bummer.

STOP TOUCHING IT AND LET THE DEALER SEE IT!
Have you not seen the Seinfeld episode where Kramer gets burned, decides to put cream on the burn and ends up losing the case?

Well, I finally got my mat sensor fixed for the recall. Dealer washed the car before giving it back to me, which was great. When I got it back, I looked at the wheels and noticed brownish stain/tint on my polish lip, all FOUR! It seemed like they washed it and let the soap/cleaner dry on the wheels and never wiped it dry. I tried rewashing it and wiping it really hard with negative results! Any suggestion how to get it back to life. I told the dealer and told me to go back so they can look at it. Wont be able to go back until next week......

Just an update, took it to the dealer and they fixed it with no problems. They said they only use soap and water but did it the night before I picked it up and never wiped the rims down after doing the service. Today, their detail shop use some kind of polish with high speed polisher and came off, THANK GOD! Rims are blinding me now
Thanks for all the input fellaz....
