it's possible I guess, but it seems odd that it worked just fine last fall but now doesn't work at all. I'll check that out though. Thanks!

My CCC died with no water being in my trunk whatsoever (I live in SoCal - not a ton of rainstorms here). I just chalked it up to "sh** happens" and bought a replacement unit. CCC failures are not exactly unheard of.

Well after reading several other threads on AC issues, I'd be willing to bet $1 that I am missing an AC belt. About a month ago when driving the kids to school, I heard this noise that sounded like something was stuck in my rim...clunk, clunk, clunk. I stopped to investigate but could see nothing that would explain it. I figured I must have run over some stick or something. After getting up to a higher speed it suddenly went away. I'm now guessing that the "clunk" was my AC belt breaking/falling off. I tried to get a look from the top of the engine, but I'm guessing that you have to jack the car up, remove the lower engine cover and look from the bottom?

Could definitely be an issue! I don't remember what kind of car you have but you should be able to see belt.
It's the one on the passenger side. two pulleys and one tensioner. It and the serpentine are both on the crank you cant miss it
